Botox or Botulinum toxin is a neurotoxin. It is made up of the same toxin that causes a type of food poisoning called botulism. The injections block specific chemical signals from the nerves that cause your muscles to contract or move.
Forms of purified botulinum toxin used by licensed health care providers meet medical control standards. These standards were approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. If used correctly, the bacteria toxins used for medical purposes are not harmful.

Botox injections are usually not very painful. We use a very small gentle needle which gives optimal results for a more comfortable treatment. Multiple injections will be made in the treatment area.
On day 2 after your botox you may start to feel and see a change. At week 2, you will have your final results.
Depending on your metabolism, your botox should last anywhere from 2-4 months.
